Quick Install & Setup (Chrome)
- Visit the official Coinbase Wallet page: coinbase.com/wallet.
- Choose the Chrome (or Chromium) extension option and open the Chrome Web Store listing published by Coinbase.
- Click Add to Chrome and confirm to install.
- Open the extension from the toolbar (puzzle icon → pin Coinbase Wallet).
- Create a new wallet or restore an existing one using your recovery phrase.
- Secure your wallet with a strong password and enable biometric unlock if available.

Coinbase Extension Login
To unlock the extension:
- Click the Coinbase Wallet icon in the Chrome toolbar.
- Enter your wallet password to unlock the extension.
- If on a new device, choose Restore wallet and enter your 12-word recovery phrase.
- After unlocking, approve dApp connections and transactions from the popup.
Troubleshooting (Chrome)
- Extension not visible: Click the puzzle icon and pin Coinbase Wallet to your toolbar.
- Restore issues: Ensure the recovery phrase words are entered in the correct order and spelling.
- Transactions failing: Check network selection, gas fees, and dApp reputation before approving.
- Phishing attempts: If a site asks for your seed phrase, exit immediately — legitimate dApps never need your seed phrase.
